AMOS WINDOWS Course (MAINTENANCE AND PURCHASE) - Manila - knowledge to be used by managers using computers

Magsaysay Maritime Training Center is an accredited training provider of AMOS program in alliance with SPECTEC Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. Aside from the initial certification course on AMOS, MTC will also conduct subsequent "Refresher Course" to those having received earlier training and for continuous skills enhancement of the system and database specifically used onboard. This training program comprises a computer-based system that includes planned maintenance scheduling, condition based maintenance, maintenance history and logs, surveys and certificates, spares consumption and manpower utilization tracking against jobs, resource planning and scheduling by discipline or employee, linking of work order to purchase order, requisition and purchase cycle for spare parts and consumables, and inventory management.

Those successfully completing the course should therefore be able to take immediate responsibility for planning and reporting maintenance, and for performing stock control and stock purchasing.

Content:

Familiarization with the basic structure of the AMOS M&P MMS and underlying database
Thorough knowledge of the means to search and locate information
Understanding of the three basic types of maintenance: planned periodic work, corrective requisitioned work and unplanned breakdown maintenance
Thorough knowledge on how to locate and produce work lists or job sheets for a specified period
Thorough knowledge on how to report work back to the system
Thorough knowledge on how to locate maintenance logs and history
Thorough knowledge on how to create requisition form
Thorough knowledge on how to check on outstanding stock items
Thorough knowledge on how to manage stock inventory
